As part of improvement work taking place on our media delivery systems, we are updating the responses from uncached requests to be more consistent. As part of this, uncached responses will now use chunked transfer encoding. As such the response will include "Transfer-Encoding: chunked" as a header, with no Content-Length header provided for all uncached responses, and the data will be delivered accordingly (see https://datatracker.ietf.org/doc/html/rfc9112#section-6.1). Cached responses will remain unchanged and return the Content-Length header as they currently do.
This behavior is already seen in some circumstances so may not require any action by consumers of our API. If however, you believe this change would require development work on your integration with our platform please inform us by close of business, March 10th. After this date we'll schedule a maintenance window to make the change described above.
